Description

We are looking to hire several NYS Certified Dieticians and Nutritionists for YO1 Center, a modern and unique exclusive resort & NatureCure and Ayurvedic wellness center (alternative healthcare) with guest rooms and support spaces totaling over 260,000 square feet located in Monticello, New York.

The Dietician/Nutritionist positions are based in Monticello, NY within Sullivan County, two hours from Manhattan and a short drive from Middletown, Port Jervis and Milford.


Under the supervision of the Wellness Director, assesses nutritional status of assigned guests. Uses pertinent data to plan and implement appropriate nutrition interventions and communicate the information to the Interdisciplinary Wellness Team (IWT) to ensure the nutritional needs of the members are met. Function as a member of the IWT. Provides nutrition counseling/ education to members individually as well as group presentations and conducts initial assessments and periodic reassessments. Assists in coordinating Center meal service to ensure kitchen standards are met.


Requirements



+ Minimum Associate degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition or closely related field with 2+ years experience preferred. Candidates with an Associate Degree must possess 8+ years' experience



+ Possess NYS Certification as either a Nutritionist or Dietician



+ Responsible for providing comprehensive, high quality nutritional care to guests, including assessment, education, evaluation and documentation



+ Must have working knowledge of healthcare food service and dietetic experience.



+ ServSafe certification preferred.



+ Must possess valid authorization to work in the in the United States
