We are looking to hire an experienced Director of Engineering for YO1 Center, a modern and unique exclusive resort & wellness center (alternative healthcare) with guest rooms and support spaces totaling over 260,000 square feet located in Monticello, New York. This role is based in Monticello, New York, within Sullivan County, two hours from Manhattan and a short drive from Middletown, Port Jervis and Milford.

The Director of Engineering assists in making key strategic and operational decisions for the property. The Director oversees the Maintenance Engineering team and is responsible for all engineering operations for interior/exterior facilities including plumbing, refrigeration, heating/, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, electrical, ground care and parking areas. The Director is also responsible for Life/Fire safety systems, energy systems, a preventative maintenance program, and management of other engineering work necessary to maintain the property in an efficient condition to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and employees.Must have solid project management skills, evidence a strong work/ethic, adaptability and flexibility and leadership skills


+ Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role. Candidates with 5 to 10 years of relevant experienced preferred.

+ Required professional degree in an Engineering discipline, trade degree in a specific technical field relating to Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), or Certified Engineering Operations Executive (CEOE), Facility Management Administrator (FMA) or Systems Maintenance Administrator (SMA).

+ Strong team player and interpersonal communication skills

+ Willing and able to work well with our staff.

+ Must possess valid authorization to work in the United States
