Description

We are looking to hire an experienced Restaurant Manager for YO1 Center, a modern and unique exclusive resort & NatureCure and Ayurvedic wellness center (alternative healthcare) with guest rooms and support spaces totaling over 260,000 square feet located in Monticello, New York. The Restaurant Manager position is based in Monticello, NY within Sullivan County, two hours from Manhattan and a short drive from Middletown, Port Jervis and Milford.



The Restaurant Manager responsibilities include the YO1 Center restaurant, café, and juice bar. As a Restaurant Manager you will also be responsible for maintaining health department regulations, training and employee development. The ideal candidate is passionate about Customer Service and restaurant operation and will have a proven track record.


Responsibilities and Duties





+ Excellent team player and strong interpersonal communication skills.



+ Supervises daily restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods.



+ Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility.



+ Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan.



+ Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example.



+ Builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.



+ Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.



Requirements



+ 2 to 3 years of previous experience in restaurant management required.



+ 2 or 4-year degree from an accredited college/university in Hotel/ Hospitality/ Restaurant Management or related major a plus.



+ Must possess valid authorization to work in the United States
